Game Dips for the Super Bowl

Venison Dip

1 pound ground venison burger
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground oregano
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Sauté venison, onion, and garlic in oil until just done. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar and oregano. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Skim off fat, remove from heat, add cheeses and stir until melted. Serve warm with crackers.
