I grew up in a family that enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping or hunting. As a kid I would tag along with my Dad and brother on coon hunts. However, I didn’t start hunting big game until 1997. Jimmy, my husband bought me my first rifle. It was a New England Firearms single-shot 243. He told me the reason for the single-shot was so I always kept in mind to make the first shot count.
After two years and with the assistance of my Dad I got a nice gobbler that spring. In the fall I also connected on my first whitetail with that single-shot 243. This is the point that hunting changed from a desire to an obsession.

In the past 10 years I have had the privilege to hunt in nine different states and take numerous animals with rifle, bow, shotgun and muzzleloader. I am honored to be a member of the 7/24 Pro Staff and appreciate the opportunity to share my adventures with you.
