I work a day job to support a serious fishing habit.  Since 2008 I've been fishing competitively and dream to make a living on or around the water.  I live for the practice, preparation, travel, camaraderie and excitement that a tournament weekend brings.  I come from an area of the country that is home to some of the best lakes and anglers in the world and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to compete against them and fish along side of them.  Whether I'm watching it, reading about it, talking about it, or doing it, fishing is usually on my mind.  I've been at this since I was old enough to turn the crank on a reel and I plan to do it until I turn to dust.
