Bass Anglers Tournament Series. April 28th, 2012. 34 boats entered.
Bass Anglers Tournament Series once again had a nice turn out with 34 boats entering the tournament. A lot of really nice limits where weighed in, out of 34 boats, 32 limits came to the scales. This lake right now is so healthy and the fish are showing it. We paid back the top 5 places and if you did'nt have over 16 pounds,you did'nt get in the money.
Taking 1st place was the team of Bill Dennis and Titus Smith B ill and Titus reported catching their fish in 2 to 3 feet of water on steep banks on the main lake fishing black and blue jigs, 3/4 ounce,around flooded bushs. They reported catching over 50 keepers on a all day bite. Total weight 20 pounds 1 1/2oz. Congradulations guys on a Great Win. They Won $710.00.Sponsors include Fin & Feather Sports Shop.
Taking 2nd place was Carl Gould, Carl reported catching his fish on black buzz baits and lizards in shallow water around laydowns. Carl said his bite was best early in the day. Carl also Won Big Bass of the tournament with a 6 pound 2oz. bass caught on a J J Magic lizard, he also had a 5 pound 12 oz. bass caught on the same lizard. Carl would like to Thank his sponsors,Optima Batteries, Falcon G Fishing, U.S Reels. J J magic lures and Pro Design. Congradulations, Carl Won $520.00 Total weight was 18 pounds 7oz.
Taking 3rd place in the tournament was the team of Steve Sherrill and Andrew Sherrill, this team reoirted catching their fish on crankbaits and jigs on main lake points in 2 to 10 feet of water with standing timber in these areas. They reported the morning bite was best but their fish did bite all day. This would be a great team to sponsor, they are currently seeking sponsorship(your name would be here) Congradulations. Steve & Andrew Won $395.00

We would like to invite you to our next event on Saturday May 26th from 6 am to 3 pm, Pomme De Terre Lake, Bolivar Landing. Entry fee is only $60.00 and that include Big Bass. No Membership required. Payback is 80% and 100% on Big Bass.We offer a optional side pot and we will also have a Championship at the end of the year Guaranteed $2,000.00 to Win based on a 50 boat field.
