Lots of fisherman create their own sweet spots on lakes or ponds to hold fish in a certain area. Here is a portable if desired fish attractor this can be made in any length. Every hardware store carries a 4" thin wall pvc pipe you can cut this to your length needed then drill 2" holes in it with a hole saw. So you can weight the tree put a cap on one end so you can put sand, rocks or concrete in the bottom to keep it solid. Next get some type of floation to keep the tree up right. I recommend the noodle the kids water toy sold at Wal-Mart and other places.  Mark these with gps and fish away!
