WCBC 6/27/09 Tournament Results
Fifteen teams competed in the West Central Bass Club’s 7th tournament for 2009 held at Truman Lake. The weigh-in was moved to Noon due to the air temperatures hovering around 100 degrees. Water temperatures in the upper 80’s with the lake level at 716 made for some tough fishing conditions. Only one limit was brought to the scales.
1st Place went to Mark Thompson with a limit of 5 fish weighing 10.27 lbs. Fish were caught on a homemade buzzbait (w/Mustad hook) and frogs in the Pomme Arm.
2nd Place went to the team of Waisner/Grimes with 4 fish weighing 8.59 lbs. Fish were caught on Brush Hogs in the Pomme Arm.
3rd Place went to the team of Haas/Radenheimer with 3 fish weighing 8.33 lbs. Fish were caught on Craws and Brush Hogs in the Tebo Arm.
4th Place went to the team of Roe/Hoeper with 4 fish weighing 7.89 lbs. Fish were caught on Brush Hogs in the Grand Arm.
Big Bass went to Al Cox weighing 4.18 lbs.
The next tournament will be held on July 25th....6am to 3pm at Truman Lake.
